In June of 2024 my wife and I were expecting twin girls. We had become so familiar with their womb antics we titled them the TWISTERS. About three weeks before their scheduled arrival, during a routine monitoring, we discovered both the girl's hearts stopped beating. We were crushed! So many emotions rushed through us, sadness, confusion, anger, even embarrassment. 

After an 8 hour labor the girls were silently born. We held them, kissed them, sand to them, and said goodbye. I was scheduled to lead worship that morning and we both decided I would go and lead our home church in worship, like David in 2 Sam 12. The following month were filled with pain,  grief and tested faith. I was angry that the God I sing about didn't save my girls. I didn't get the miracle.

Eventually, I realized he had given a miracle. The miracle was a faith that didn't fail, though it was weak. I realized then more than ever that God is still God in the middle of the storm. He doesn't stand on the sideline watching but He gets down with you, like with the hebrew boys in the furnace.
